Mangalyam tantu naanena........

Tenali rama, one of the ashtadiggajas, was a great poet. He was known for his brilliance as well has his wit. Kalyanarama on the other hand is no diggaja and is certainly no poet(he calls himself one though). What then relates the two.
Absolutely Nothing.

Ok then, lets get to the story of kalyana rama. Kalyana rama has had a lot of dreams. And that is what they remain, dreams. When in school he dreamed of being the school rowdy. He never was. He dreamed of being a ladies man. All the ladies wanted him as a brother. Well the list goes on and on. Lets just say that every one of these dreams is a failure.

kalyana rama is also an avid throw ball watcher. He and his friend Sapat rama used to watch every match played in school. Well, not the match but the girls playing them. Normally, this would not be a bad thing. I mean, it is not wrong to admire a beautiful person. We all do it. These guys on the other hand used to admire the clothes worn by the girls(not the visible ones). Having done all these, kalyanarama has the nerve to call himself a budding vivekananda.

Marriage is a subject close to kalyana rama's heart. He is kalyana rama after all, isn't he. Kalyanam = marriage. It is so close that he cannot stop thinking or talking about it. He is on the verge of getting engaged to a girl. The only catch is that the girl is studying and cannot marry right now. It could take a year or two. Kalyana rama was skeptical about this arrangement. But Mantravadi, good friend that he is, asked him not to worry and promised to look after the girl like his own wife.

Ahh friendship...draws a drop of blood...(back le red light)
